Buddy Sessions

 

Looking for a Personal Trainer but want to workout alongside a friend or family member? 

Buddy sessions are a great concept and an excellent way to increase motivation/accountability for going to the gym. The sessions themselves are highly motivating and effective, not to mention more affordable. If you and your buddy have different levels of fitness, it's not a problem, we can accommodate this (your goals, however need to be similar). Many of our buddy sessions are husband/wife, mother/daughter or two like-minded friends.
 
Your trainer will work with you both, helping to build consistency with your training, nutrition and lifestyle.  The accountability alone from these sessions will help you to progress and take control of your lifestyle choices. All sessions are adapted to meet your needs. Progress, which you are going to experience, is tracked weekly. If you have the ideal training partner then get involved in our buddy sessions.

Our trainer Michael has supported us throughout and made sure we make progress at a safe and comfortable pace, he is always very present during the session and modifies or adjusts according to our needs or what else is happening in the gym at the time. The gym itself is spacious enough to accommodate a diversity of equipment and sessions and has all the necessary facilities. However, it is conveniently small and intimate so that we know almost everyone else and we feel comfortable working out without feeling judged. I also appreciate that there are people of all ages and levels working out here, all with a common goal of bettering ourselves.

What is a buddy session?

A buddy session allows two individuals to train together with a certified PT. This format combines personalised attention with the motivation and camaraderie of a training partner.  

Who can participate in buddy sessions?

Buddy sessions are ideal for friends, family members or workout partners who want to achieve their fitness goals together and enjoy/need the motivation of each other being there. Sessions are suitable to all levels.  

Can my buddy and I have different levels?

Yes, our trainers are skilled at designing workouts and pushing each individual to their own level, ensuring that both participants are progressing at their own pace.  

What can I expect during a buddy session?

During a session, you can expect a combination of cardiovascular exercises, strength training, flexibility work, and possibly some circuit-style workouts. The trainer will guide you through the exercises, provide modifications when needed, and ensure proper form and technique at all times. The aim is to provide a challenging but effective workout that inspires you to achieve great things out with each session.
